Community Spirit

April 25th, 2010

Yesterday, I had a wonderful day in the constituency. It started in the High Street in Crowthorne, moved on to the official opening ceremony of the new Baptist Community Centre in Finchampstead (pictured above on an earlier visit), then on to the Town Centre in Bracknell to set up a campaign stand and ended at a fantastic silver band evening performance in Sandhurst. By the end of the day, not only had I undertaken successful campaigning in the towns of Crowthorne and Bracknell, I also had, had the pleasure and privilege of attending two outstanding community events. What is clear to me, is that if I am successful at becoming the next MP for the Bracknell constituency, I will be a very fortunate man.

Thank you for visiting me today (26th) – as the very first person in politics to actually bother to knock on my door and take time for a chat about local issues.

    Was good to talk :-)
