My wife and I have lived in Martins Heron since 1985 and in that time seen a general deterioration of the local area.
Issues of specific concern are: -
- Unacceptable commuter parking in the local roads, particlarly Setley Way. Shame to see our area turn into a free car-parking facility with inconvenience caused to residents (rubbish left, noise, commuters fighting for limited spaces, illegal parking etc). I’ve complained on a number of occasions to the council and it just seems they are turning a blind eye.
- Graffiti, regular vandalisation, rubbish, broken walls etc close to Martins Heron Station with very little visibility of policing and maintenance.
- Bracknell Town. We have been promised regeneration for the last 25 years and nothing has happened. In the meantime other nearby towns have flourished.
Apologises if this email just appears as a list of gripes. Just that I want to continue to vote Tory, but very concerned that inaction will continue under Tory control.
I would like to understand whether you intend to tackle the items mentioned above as priorities if you win the seat.
