I have case studies and documentation to support this opinion and I hope that the 'fresh conservatives' with your new parliamentary structure might be able to change this situation and allow technology and science to advance independant of financial motivation. I have been told that I have not done myself any favours by being correct and sticking to scientific integrity as my motivation.
