Iftaar Party – Conservative Friends of Bangladesh

October 17th, 2006

My understanding is that Ramadan is a time of reflection, fasting, and charity. A time for togetherness and thanksgiving. It is also a time to think of the less fortunate, and to share God’s gifts with those in need. Muslims gather to break the fast at an Iftaar Party. I have been kindly invited to such a party this weekend by one of our Patrons. The Conservative Friends of Bangladesh, though only recently launched, is gaining real momentum. The hard work of both Teresa Rosell and Anne Main MP, backed by the generosity and genuine support of our Patrons, is really beginning to pay off. I look forward to meeting all of our supporters on Saturday.
